Wee Tiong was called to the Singapore Bar in 1997. Prior to joining Chris Chong & CT Ho LLP as a partner on 1 February 2012, he honed his skills in the litigation/dispute resolution departments of some of the leading law firms in Singapore. His practice encompasses civil and commercial litigation, banking litigation, and corporate litigation such as shareholder disputes and breaches of directors’ duties. He also advises and acts for clients in employment and property-related disputes. Wee Tiong has been involved in several high-profile trials in the Singapore High Court such as the claims brought by a group of banks against Asia Pacific Breweries (Singapore) Pte Ltd in what was Singapore’s largest banking fraud trial, and the dispute involving Raffles Town Club, and its current and former directors and shareholders, which was the longest civil trial held in the Singapore courts.
