Michael holds dual qualifications in building and law and started his career in Quantity Survey with a building contractor in 1985. He later joined HDB as a Contracts Officer and qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He was called to the Singapore Bar and Malaysian Bar. He started his legal career in 1995 in one of the top four legal practices in Singapore and was attached to a boutique construction law practice in KL. Michael has over 25 years of experience advising developers, owners, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants on legal matters, claims and disputes in building and construction in Malaysia and Singapore. His main practice areas are litigation, dispute avoidance and resolution, mediation, adjudication and arbitration in construction and related disciplines. Michael is on the panels of arbitrators of SIArb and LSAS, a panel member of Law Society’s Neutral Evaluation and Determination Scheme, a mediator from Singapore Construction Mediation Centre and an accredited adjudicator with the Singapore Mediation Centre.

谢律师拥有建筑和法律双学历，并于1985年从建筑承包商行业开始了他的职业生涯。他后来加入HDB新加坡建屋局，并获得 特许的数量测量师资格。他于1995年在新加坡四大法律事务所之一中开始法律职业生涯，并在吉隆坡从事精品建筑法律业务。 谢律师拥有超过25年的经验，可为开发商、业主们，承包商或分包商、供应商和建筑顾问处理建筑业索赔和纠纷等等的法律咨 询。谢律师是SIArb和LSAS的仲裁员也是律师会中立评估与裁决计划的委员。他是新加坡建筑调解中心SCMC和新加坡调解中 心SMC裁判和调解员。
